The third emerging technology I used was photobucket.com. This piece of technology is a type of photo album online. You can upload photos onto the website and edit them. It is a way to store photos. It's useful because if your computer crashes and you lose all your photos on your computer, you have a place where they are uploaded and you can always get to them. Its very simple to use. You first have to sign up, but it is free (unless you want more memory on your account or you just want to upgrade). After you sign up it takes you to a screen to upload photos. I learned to use this program by simple trial and error. Once you upload the photos you can pick an album to put them in, or you can make a new one. It is very user friendly. It is easy to understand because everything is layed out for you and it tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. Tips I have is to have fun and upload photos you would love to share with everyone! It is very simple to use so there are not many suggestions or tips to give but have fun!
WOW, what a beautiful family you have. I love photo sharing programs they are a great way to both view and preserve your memories. Those of us entering the field of education can always use a program like this because children love photos and this is a nice way to allow them to share their family with their classmates. ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. This is a great way to preserve pictures. My computer has crashed before and I lost all of my pictures. After that, I decided to put my pictures on a website like Photobucket and now I know if it happens again, I will be able to get back to them. You did a great job!! It looks good.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your photo album...loved all of the photos...especially the little feet! I had not really considered the risk of losing all of my photos if my computer crashed. I have been using a digital camera for several years now and always upload my photos to my computer. I usually try to burn them to a disk, but sometime I don't get it done. Thanks for sharing that bit of information. I will definitely take a look at this application. Have a great summer.
